This striking triad reimagines the ancient Japanese proverb of the Three Wise Monkeys - Mizaru, Kikazaru, and Iwazaru - through a lens of dark pop surrealism and Victorian mourning aesthetics.
Replacing the classic three monkeys with doll-like figures shifts the focus from a lesson on self-control to a more haunting commentary on the fragility of innocence and the price of sensory isolation.

“Censored” is about the forced silencing of women and the power of speaking back through art. The grey colours show a world where a woman’s voice has been dimmed, but the bright red paint across her mouth makes the act of silencing impossible to ignore.

By embracing the very thing that once terrified me, the Enchantress turns the tables on those who would stare. She doesn’t shy away. Instead, she meets their gaze with intensity, putting them under her spell.
